I can not believe that Savannah is seven! OK, well, I can believe it, but I don't want to. I found out I was pregnant while in Canada. I was there with my mom while the boys were in Alaska fishing. I was an emotional wreck that week and my mom told me that something had to be wrong with me. I was too emotionally whacked. So I confirmed it. Of course I couldn't keep it secret so I told my mom and Auntie Ardell and Lori-Lynn and L.A. and Gram. But they were all sworn to secrecy. I wanted to tell Phil when we got home. Well when the secret came out, we found out that Rob and Sasha were pregnant and so was Christy and Drew (and if my memory serves me correctly, Andrew & Camille found out they were pregnant too, but then had a miscarriage, but were pregnant a few months later, because Adelaide is only 5 or 6 months younger). Obviously something was in the water or the coke or whatever we were all drinking.
I was so excited to pregnant, and pregnant with another girl, since the two are 19 months apart. I thought what a great thing to have a sister so close in age. OK, so little did I know that this would be the death of me. I mean, really, I am the only girl. How would I know? I always envied my friends who could share their clothes and shoes with their sisters. The secrets that they could share with their sisters. The advice that they would get. I always dreamed of having that. Well no one told me that there were lots of in between moments (and I mean a lot) that would cause tears and drama and so much more. And I know, I know, we haven't even hit the pre-teen years.
Savannah is such a tease. She gets this from her dad. And she does it so well. She even has the evil laugh to go with it. She teases her sisters (both older and younger). She teases the dogs (both big and small). She teases the cat. And most of all, she teases Mom and Dad. Savannah is such a social butterfly. She loves to flirt with ALL the boys. In fact, when I asked who she wanted to invite to her birthday party, she named 3 or 4 boys first. She wants to be just like her older sister - anything that Sierra does, Savannah wants to do it too. Savannah is a great swimmer and is a beautiful dancer and gymnast. She wants to start soccer as well, so she can be just like Sierra.
She lost her 2nd top tooth last week, and so she is "toofleth" on the top. Because of this, she thinks she has to drink everything through a straw. Well give it a few more weeks and she will be missing 4 more teeth (we are in the process of beginning her orthodontic procedure-so if anyone feels the need to donate to a good cause this year, we would gladly take donations in behalf of Savannah's smile).
